CHANNEL OF THE VOICE
An 8-Week Journey into Embodied Voice Practices
An immersive 8-week course exploring the profound relationship between body and voice.
27 October – 15 December 2026 · Warsaw, Poland
ABOUT THE COURSE
Embodied Voice Practices is more than just vocal technique. It is an exploration of the body as a resonant instrument — and of the profound relationship between physical awareness and vocal expression.
Over eight weeks, we will explore the “channel of the voice”: the physical structures and pathways that influence breath, resonance, release, sound, and expression.
Each three-hour session focuses on a different area of the body, including the diaphragm, psoas, pelvic diaphragm, ribcage, jaw, and the spaces of resonance within the body.
Through guided release work, breath practices, movement, vocal exploration, improvisation, singing, and vocal technique, we will develop a deeper awareness of how the body supports and shapes the voice.
Across eight three-hour sessions, the work combines practical exploration with experiential learning. Participants will receive exercises and a course handbook to support their practice between sessions.
THE 8-WEEK JOURNEY
1 — THE CHANNEL
Body & Release
We begin with the foundations of the voice: diaphragm, pelvic diaphragm and psoas. Through breath, movement and release work, we explore how the body supports free and authentic sound.
2 — RESONANCE
Ribcage, Jaw & Resonators
We explore the ribcage, jaw and the body’s resonating spaces, discovering how physical freedom influences vocal colour, range, resonance and expression.
3 — VOICE & TECHNIQUE
Integration & Expression
Release work meets vocal technique through singing, improvisation, extended vocal exploration and practical tools for developing a more embodied and expressive voice.
