THE VOICE OF RELEASE

Embodied Voice Workshop

A two-day immersive workshop exploring the relationship between voice, body, breath, emotion, and creative expression.

26–27 September 2026 · Warsaw, Poland

About the workshop

The voice is not separate from the body.

It moves through breath, sensation, vibration, emotion and impulse. When we allow the body to participate fully, sound can become more than something we produce — it can become something we experience.

The Voice of Release is an embodied approach to vocal practice that brings together somatic awareness, movement, breath and vocal exploration.

We begin with the body and follow the origins of sound: from breath to vibration, from vibration to resonance, from resonance to voice.

Through this process, we explore the voice as a living expression of the whole human being — opening space for greater awareness, freedom and possibility.

The Central Idea

Giving Voice to What Moves Within

The voice is not only something produced by the throat. It arises through the whole body and extends into the space around us.

Through movement, breath, vibration and sound, we explore the body as a gateway to creativity — awakening new possibilities for sounding, singing, language and expression.

At the heart of this work is the deeply human act of giving voice to emotion. Through sound, we can give shape and substance to inner experience, transforming what we feel into something that can be expressed, witnessed, supported and released.

Who this workshop is for

You do not need to be a singer or performer to participate.

No previous vocal experience is necessary — only curiosity and a willingness to explore.

This workshop is open to artists and non-artists alike. It is for anyone who wants to:

— develop a deeper connection with their body and voice
— feel more confident and free in their vocal expression
— expand their vocal range and expressive possibilities
— explore new pathways of creativity and self-expression
— release physical, emotional, or vocal blocks
— give voice to something within that is waiting to be expressed
— connect more deeply with yourself and others

The Work & the Rhythm

The work brings together somatic awareness, vocal exploration, movement, breath, creative processes, improvisation, and emotional expression.

Through movement and breath practices, we awaken the voice through the body and explore vibration within the bones and tissues. We work with the body’s resonators — the spaces that carry and amplify vibration — developing a more visceral awareness of resonance and vocal freedom.

We explore singing, sounding and vocal improvisation, as well as individual and group voicing. Partner work introduces opportunities for awareness, creativity and connection, including carefully guided hands-on practices.

Throughout the workshop, we move between individual exploration and shared experience, allowing the voice to carry what words alone cannot. The process concludes with integration, reflection and sharing.

“This workshop opened up so much for me—the connection between voice and body, and the recognition of how natural it is to make sound, even though we so often restrain ourselves.”
— Mia, 2021
