THE VOICE OF RELEASE
workshop + concert
An embodied exploration of voice as a pathway to emotional expression, creative freedom, and release.
4–6 September 2026 · Zagreb, Croatia
About the workshop
The voice is not separate from the body.
It moves through breath, sensation, vibration, emotion and impulse. When we allow the body to participate fully, sound can become more than something we produce — it can become something we experience.
The Voice of Release is an embodied approach to vocal practice that brings together somatic awareness, movement, breath and vocal exploration.
We begin with the body and follow the origins of sound: from breath to vibration, from vibration to resonance, from resonance to voice.
Through this process, we explore the voice as a living expression of the whole human being — opening space for greater awareness, freedom and possibility.
THE CENTRAL IDEA
Giving Voice to What Moves Within
There are experiences that live in the body before they become words.
A feeling.
A memory.
A tension.
A longing.
An impulse.
Sometimes they need to be spoken.
Sometimes they need to be sounded.
Sometimes they simply need space to move.
The Voice of Release explores the human capacity to give shape and substance to emotion through voice. Through sound, movement and creative practice, inner experience can become something tangible — something that can be witnessed, shared and transformed.
This is not about producing a beautiful voice.
It is about discovering what your voice is capable of carrying.

The Work & the Rhythm
The work begins with the body.
Through movement, breath, vibration and sound, we explore the physical origins of the voice and awaken our awareness of how sound moves through the body.
We work with resonance — sensing vibration in the bones and tissues — and gradually allow the voice to emerge through physical experience rather than forcing it into a predetermined shape.
The practice moves between individual exploration, vocal play and shared work. We follow impulses, discover different qualities of sound, and explore how breath and movement can open new possibilities for vocal expression.
Along the way, we work with a range of creative processing and vocal release practices, allowing emotion to be experienced, sounded and transformed through the voice.
The work is dynamic and experiential, moving between concentration and freedom, intensity and lightness, always returning to the body as our starting point and our guide.
